Branding, TV app & website for quiz platform

Brand Identity + UI Design via Collabo

Okiwanza is a quiz platform for all ages where you can build and play your own quizzes or choose a quiz from the website to play or adjust. Alone or with friends, on the couch with family or with classmates in the library. By connecting your tablet or phone as a controller with an unique code, everybody can join to play.

Via Collabo I designed the brand identity and did the interface design for the Okiwanza mobile- and TV applications, it’s website and the admin panel for the back-end.

Branding that’s as playful as the quizzes

The branding is inspired by the basic colors of game pieces from classic board games combined with simple, recognizable symbols that together represent the quiz answers on the big screen. When neutral,
a dark purple color sets the backdrop for playful colored flakes. For the game avatars and category icons, I’ve made use of the excellent Twemoji set.

Join the fun with any device

The quizzes can be played by yourself or with a number of other players. Before the quiz starts, players can join with their own devices by filling in a unique game code. After choosing a player name and avatar, you’re good to go. Questions will start showing up on the big screen, while answers can be filled in individually on the player’s phone or tablet.
